The Importance of a Good Physiologic Bite
LISTEN to Dr.Tom Roselle, DC and Dr. Michael Chung, DDS of Softouch Dental Care discuss a physiologic bite and how it can identify symptoms of pain and headaches in relation to pathologic occlusion, or a ‘bad bite,’ which may be due to muscles being forced into a position that is not ideal for their proper function.
Some signs or symptoms of a bad bite may include:
– severely worn teeth
– migraines
– clenching
– overclosure (deep bite)
– jaw pain
– neck pain
– headaches
– tinnitus (ringing of the ears)
– forward head posture
– tooth pain & sensitivity
