The Reptilian Brain

Listen to Dr. Tom Roselle DC discuss the reptilian brain as it relates to brain trauma or injury and the intestinal tract.

The reptilian brain is the oldest of the three part of your brain. It controls the body’s vital functions such as heart rate, breathing, body temperature and balance. Our reptilian brain includes the main structures found in a reptile’s brain: the brainstem and the cerebellum.
