Brain fog is a type of cognitive dysfunction involving memory problems, lack of mental clarity, poor concentration, inability to focus and mental fatigue. Drs. Roselle and Zhang also discuss some of the possible causes of brain fog including stress, lack of sleep, hormonal changes, diet (or food allergies.) Other culprits include medications and other medical conditions such as thyroid conditions.
