Menopause: Back to Basics
Listen to Dr. Tom Roselle, DC and Dr. Stephanie Pina, ND, LAc discuss menopause. Menopause is a normal transition beginning with the decline of the sex hormones estrogen, progesterone and testosterone that creates irregular cycles and symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweating, and mood swings. While the average age of menopause is 51, some women begin their transition much earlier and others as a consequence of medical procedures.
